Bobby started working at the young age of 12 for his father Robert Bentz Senior who owned and operated Bentz-Craft Boats on Wadmalaw Island, South Carolina. He learned everything from the ground up with fiberglass & wooden boat building, restorations, repairs and design in the marine industry and still today admires the craft. His father always struggled to keep the business going to the point where he could keep Bobby employed so he varied off at different times broadening his job skills which included being a restaurant waiter, dishwasher, manager training while still in high school and then to electrical, plumbing, carpentry, welding, mechanical, flooring, painting, home building, remodeling – restaurants, airplane hangers, commercial buildings, churches, manufacturing facilities, and the list goes on and on. Remodeling restaurants was his favorite!
After being independently working for so long, and realizing that over 85% of his customers where restaurants, Bobby decided to devote his attention to only restaurants. Creating a company that tailors only to restaurants and other businesses in the food service industry. That’s where the name Restaurant Daddy came to light in November 2016. A name which will be unforgettable by anyone who hears it. Becoming a one-stop-shop for the customers.
Bobby can help you with restaurant makeovers, service calls, getting equipment, design and anything else you could possibly need.
